Autumn preparation: IV drip protocols to build your best ski season yet

How to use IV therapy in September, October and November to peak at the start of the ski season

September, October and November represent the ideal window to build the nutritional foundations that will determine your performance and enjoyment throughout the entire ski season. By the time the first snow falls on the Dolomiti peaks above Cortina, your body should be optimally stocked with the vitamins, minerals and cofactors that fuel exceptional skiing.

September focus: assessment and correction. After summer, many athletes have depleted vitamin D despite sun exposure (sunscreen use reduces synthesis significantly), and the transition from summer sports to ski-specific preparation creates new nutritional demands. Comprehensive blood panel testing identifies the specific deficiencies to address. IV sessions in September typically focus on iron normalization if needed, vitamin D loading dose if levels are below 40 ng/mL and B12 for athletes following plant-based diets.

October focus: building resilience. Myers Cocktail sessions twice monthly build up reserves of magnesium, B-vitamins and vitamin C. This is also the optimal time for collagen-support infusions with high-dose vitamin C (10g) to strengthen tendons and ligaments before the mechanical demands of ski season begin. NAD+ sessions support mitochondrial efficiency for the aerobic base work of pre-season training.

November focus: final preparation. As resorts prepare to open, a comprehensive pre-season IV protocol in the final two weeks ensures peak nutritional status for the first day on the slopes. Glutathione and antioxidant loading, hydration optimization and immune system priming complete the preparation cycle.
